Resolute Brewing Company Partners with Non-Profit to Raise Money for Parents

CENTENNIAL, Colorado – Resolute Brewing Company announced that the brewery will partner with Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council (ACECC) for a month-long fundraiser and a limited glass release event to raise money for the “Parents as Teachers” program, which provides resources to parents to help get kids ready for school.

Starting on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the brewery will donate a percentage of all sales to Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council when guests mention “ACECC” at checkout.

Then on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 4-8pm, Resolute Brewing will host a fundraising event at their Centennial taproom, with a limited glass release. By donating $40, guests will receive a special box with two custom designed glasses, a travel-ready blanket, an early childhood book, a frisbee, and a coupon from the brewery. Donation boxes are available for purchase now with pick up on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 4-8pm during the fundraiser. Only 75 boxes are available on a first come, first serve basis, and may sell-out prior to the fundraising event.

“As members of this community, it’s important for us to support organizations like ACECC. During the pandemic, families were hit hard trying to do everything at once, from school at home, to working full time, to trying to stay safe. That’s why we wanted to find an organization that could help. Parents as Teachers was made for families like ours, they provide resources families need. We are so excited to host this event and welcome back people to the taproom,” Said Andrew Duvall, the Director of Operations at Resolute Brewing.

Parents as Teachers is a global initiative that was developed in the 1970s, when educators recognized that children were beginning kindergarten with varying levels of school readiness. Since then, research has shown that greater parent involvement is a critical link in the child’s development. Parents as Teachers is available to anyone that lives in Arapahoe County.

“Parents as Teachers is a program we have provided since 2006 for people in Arapahoe County. This year, we wanted to reach out to families that are struggling with all of the increased demands from the pandemic, to let them know there are services and resources available to them. By partnering with Resolute Brewing, we hope to start a conversation with parents that may not be aware of our services or may not know how to ask for help. These last few years have been incredibly stressful, so this kickoff event is also a great opportunity for parents to relax for a night with or without their kids,” said Gretchen Davidson, Executive Director for Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council.

All donations to ACECC qualify for Colorado’s Child Care Tax Credit, which provides a 50% tax credit of the total contribution to donors
