Pikes Peak Brewing to Begin Shipping Private Label Beer to China

Monument, Colorado — Pikes Peak Brewing Company and Maestro Brew Ltd, a UK company, have entered into a private label agreement to produce, import and distribute beer to the Chinese market.

In a deal brokered by Hans Trading of California, Pikes Peak Brewing has developed and will brew and can 3 styles of “USA Premium Craft Beer”, for the Maestro Brew brand. The styles will include: Grand Maestro IPA, an American IPA with citrus hop notes, Disciple Pale Ale, a refreshing, session American Pale ale, and Maestro Belgian Pale Ale, a classic Belgian ale with a traditional Belgian yeast profile.

“The Chinese market is just beginning to appreciate American craft beer and is the quickly becoming the largest beer market in the world.” said Chris Wright, Founder and Head Brewer at Pikes Peak Brewing Co. “Partnering with the good people from Maestro Brew Ltd, who know and have great experience with the Chinese consumer market, is very exciting and has the promise of incredible growth.”

Maestro Brew Ltd is working with Tasty Goods Ltd, a leading importer and distributor for a number of brands of food and beverages across the globe, from Japan, China, USA, France and the rest of Europe.

All 3 styles are currently available on draft at Pikes Peak Brewing’s taproom. Distribution is expected to begin in September.
