Boardman, OR – Preparing for the onset of dark days and cool, wet weather, Ordnance Brewing has released it’s Fall seasonal – Old Craig, an English Strong Ale and a very limited production whiskey barrel aged Imperial Stout, Bläckfiskey.

Named for managing partner, Craig Coleman, Old Craig is a hearty English style Strong Ale brewed with the addition of brown sugar which gives it a nice candy-like flavor. A light hop character (IBU: 41) brings an Oregon attitude that balances with the natural fruity notes to make this beer a special treat. And, at 8.7 ABV, it’s a belly warmer but one with complex flavors and great balance. Old Craig is available in 22 oz bottles and draft throughout the Pacific Northwest.

In far more limited supply, Ordnance Brewing is also releasing their barrel-aged version of the popular Bläckfisk Imperial Stout (9.5 ABV). Bläckfiskey, the original brew aged in whiskey barrels between nine and ninteen months, blended and bottled with distinct orange wax.
