FORT COLLINS — New Belgium Brewing has awarded national top honors to Brown Distributing of Austin, TX and Hubert Distributors in Oakland, MI as part of their annual Distributor of the Year Award, 2014. The award recognizes distributor partners who have gone above and beyond in the areas of market plan execution, new beer launches and sustainability efforts. In addition to top honors, regional winners include Crescent Crown Arizona (AZ), Odom Northwest/Washington (WA/ID), JJ Taylor Distributing (MN), and Faust Distributing (TX).

“We had an amazing year in 2014, and our distributor partners played a huge part in driving that success by executing market plans from start to finish,” said New Belgium National Field Sales Director, Michael Corrigan. “Many distributors across the country worked tirelessly throughout the year, but top honors go to Brown Distributing of Austin, TX and Hubert Distributors of Oakland, MI. Big congratulations and thanks to both Brown and Hubert for a truly remarkable year.”

A points system broke out distributors into two tiers based on volume. Three winners from each tier were chosen with top honors going to the highest score. New Belgium Sales Area Managers and Division Directors totaled points and compared notes for the final outcome.
