FORT COLLINS, CO – New Belgium Brewing’s Frambozen is now available, making it official that the holiday season is just around the corner. A traditional holiday favorite, New Belgium’s seasonal Frambozen will dance on bar taps and holiday tables through January.
Frambozen is derived from the Flemish word for raspberries and inspired by the Framboise beers of Belgium, where the use of raspberries in beer outdates the use of traditional hops. New Belgium annually sends delegates to the Pacific Northwest to oversee the process of turning freshly picked berries into a pure juice, which is then loaded into oxygen-free CO2 tanker trucks that return to Colorado. The sight of crimson brewers at the brewery is a telltale sign of fun to come.
“Frambozen is one of our staple holiday releases because it’s absolutely perfect with many of the traditional meals served this time of year,” said Grady Hull, Assistant Brewmaster at New Belgium Brewing. “Additionally, it is a gorgeous color, has a fun tale about its creation and even makes a great stocking stuffer.”
Frambozen is 6.5% ABV.
