San Diego, CA – In March 2016, Mike Hess craft beer brands will be available for wholesale distribution through Markstein Sales Company. Available brands such as their Solis IPA, Habitus Double IPA (2014 World Beer Cup winner), Grapefruit Solis IPA, My Other Vice Berliner Weisse, Grazias Vienna Cream Ale, and Claritas Kolsch style, offer high quality, distinctive beers with broad tastes which appeal to a wide variety of craft beer enthusiasts.
Opening a “Nano,” brewery concept originally in Miramar, San Diego in July 2010, Mike Hess Brewing, a family owned operation, has quickly become a local favorite in a saturated market. “My vision has always been to inspire and encourage a passion for exceptional craft beer in an environment that establishes personal and professional growth within the industry,” says founder and proprietor, Michael Hess. “I am fortunate enough to expand our business into another beer centric destination that happens to be my hometown.”
Northgate High School (Walnut Creek) alum Mike Hess founded the brewery with his wife and Director of Operations, Lynda in 2010, and was joined by his brother Greg Hess as an equity stakeholder and the National Sales Director in 2012. MHB’s reputation has been solidified by a long list of award winning beers available across a broad style spectrum. Available retail packaging includes their Open MikeTM 16-ounce cans which have become a staple for active lifestyle beer consumers with an end that comes completely off, and 22 ounce bomber bottles.
Craft beer enthusiasts will be able to purchase Mike Hess beer in craft-centric bars, restaurants and retailers throughout the Contra Costa County, including Lunardi’s Markets, E.J. Phair Brewing Co. Pittsburg Alehouse, The Hop Grenade, Tap 25 and 3 Sheets.
