Marin Brewing Releases Dotard Double IPA

LARKSPUR, Calif. — Marin Brewing’s Brewmaster Arne Johnson often finds inspiration in the most fascinating places, including the news. Johnson’s love of current events and politics recently lead him to the nearest dictionary where he fell in love with a new word, and that word is the name for his next great beer.

Dotard.

Marin Brewing’s Dotard Double IPA will debut today at the Brewco, as well as being available in 1/2 bbl and 1/6 bbl kegs. Dotard has a very SIMPLE grain bill of Pale Ale malt with just a handful of Crystal (less than .5%), which allows the gobs of Simcoe and Centennial hops employed to smack your senses. The VERY SNEAKY 8.5% ABV will CREEP up on you, so be careful with this one, or you may end up like POTUS!
