Marin Brewing Expands Distribution, Packaging

Marin Brewing Mt. Tam Can 6 pack 1

Larkspur, CA – We’re thrilled to announce that our flagship Mt. Tam Pale Ale, aka one of the greatest pale ales of all time, is now available in cans for the first time ever. This award-winning beer has been offered on tap and in bottles for 27 years, and consumer demand spurred the decision to carry it in cans at last.

The distribution plan will bring Mt. Tam Pale Ale to a number states, the nation’s capital and countries including: Idaho, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Oregon, The District of Columbia, Las Vegas, Reno, Australia, England and Holland.

We’ll also be expanding into additional states and regions in the coming weeks including: New York, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Michigan, Hawaii, New Mexico and Southern California.

With the arrival of spring, most of us will be spending more time outside where cans make the most sense. Cans are also more environmentally friendly, and almost always welcomed in public places such as golf courses, picnics in the park, pools, the beach and on boats. In addition, cans are easier to ship, provide greater shelf life and help to ensure beer always arrives fresh.

Alumni and fans of Marin Brewing Company outside of California have been asking for this expansion and we’re thrilled we’ve been able to make that happen.
