Maine Brewers’ Guild Hires Operations Coordinator

MAINE — The Maine Brewers’ Guild, a nonprofit trade association dedicated to promoting and protecting Maine’s craft beer brewers, is proud to announce the hiring of Anna Kurihara as their full-time Operations Coordinator.

Anna resides in Saco and was most recently employed as the Operations Manager for Urban Farm Fermentory where she was responsible for managing cash flow, improving brand identity, and supporting the production team. In her role at the Guild she will manage the bookkeeping, event management, member engagement, social media, and create efficient administrative procedures.

Anna is the second employee of the Guild, who hired their current executive director, Sean Sullivan in 2013. In 2013, there were around 45 breweries operating in Maine, and now there are over 120 – and nearly every single Maine brewery has chosen to join the Maine Brewers’ Guild. Anna began in mid-January.
