Latis Imports Expands Distribution in North Texas

DALLAS, TX – Latis, founded by two former InBev executives, David van Wees and Anthony Giardina, is expanding distribution of its import beer portfolio into North Texas. Ben E. Keith Beverage Distributors has been chosen to represent and distribute the Latis portfolio in Dallas, Denton, and Fort Worth markets. PALM, Rodenbach, BOON, Theakston, and Acrobrau brewery beers can now be found at a bar or retail store near you beginning Monday, February 13, 2012.

Belgian portfolio boasts a host of specialty brands, including its flagship PALM, Belgium’s best selling Belgian Ale that now has over 400 draught locations in New York City, Rodenbach, the legendary sour, BOON, the preeminent Lambeek, Estaminet Premium Pils and a range of authentic Abbey beers from. PALM Brewery has been owned by the same family and brewing since 1747 and continues a long tradition of producing award-winning beers and ales.

The Theakston Brewery was established in 1827 and has developed a range of ales that are the hallmark of English brewing tradition. The Theakston name has become synonymous with award winning creamy ales, most notably, the legendary Old Peculier.

Since 1567, Arcobr├ñu beers have been brewed in accordance with the German purity law. These unpasteurized beers are brewed with water for Arcobr├ñu beers comes from a 10,000 year old spring and the yeast “pitch” is only used once whereas other breweries may use the pitch up to 15 times. Arcobr├ñu produces all traditional styles of Bavarian beer but only two are imported to the U.S.
