Ladyface Ale Companie Cyrena Nouzille

Agoura Hills, CA —  Cyrena Nouzille, Co-founder and General Manager of Ladyface Ale Companie and its brewpub Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie, has been re-elected to a second three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Brewers Association. The B.A. announced the winning candidates and new slate of its Board of Directors today.

The Brewers Association is a national nonprofit trade association and is the largest organization of brewers in the United States with more than 3700 brewery members and 46,895 American homebrewers . It was established in 2005 by a merger of the Association of Brewers and the Brewers’ Association of America with the goal of unifying a combined 94-year history of service to promote and protect the U.S. craft brewing community’s interests. An American craft brewer is defined as small and independent.

Nouzille will continue as the as Chair of the Brewpub Committee, which represents brewery members with a restaurant component to their businesses.  “When I was first elected,” said Nouzille, “I had the privilege of serving with some of the great pioneers of the craft beer industry, such as Sam Calagione, Ken Grossman and Kim Jordan. I want to take their spirit of transparent leadership, collaboration and genuine enthusiasm into my second term to help promote and protect the small and independent craft brewer.”

The new board of directors slate includes the director of California Craft Brewers Association, Tom McCormick, and Stone Brewing Company’s President, Steve Wagner. The full press release from the Brewers Association may be found here:

Nouzille is a resident of Agoura Hills and former Planning Commissioner for the City of Agoura Hills. She currently chairs the Brewers Association’s Brewpub Committee.
