Boston, MA  – There are subtle but unmistakable signs that announce the arrival of fall. That first crisp afternoon – the sun is bright but there’s a slight chill in the air. And then there are the first few leaves that start to turn on the trees. Perhaps the most telling, there’s the first day at the brewery when almost everyone shows up in flannel. In celebration of the New England fall, the employee owners of Harpoon are proud to introduce Flannel Friday, the brewery’s first new fall seasonal offering since 1989.

This Hoppy Amber Ale is a tribute to the quintessential season of change. A bright hop aroma from Cascade and Citra hop additions complements its strong and complex malt backbone. Amber hued, medium bodied, with hints of citrus and pine, Flannel Friday is meant for the crisp days of fall.

Harpoon’s line of craft beer features its award winning IPA and UFO beers, along with special seasonal selections. In 2000 Harpoon purchased a second brewery in Windsor, VT, making Harpoon the 19th largest craft brewer in the US.
