Half Moon Bay Brewing Company Names New CEO

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. – Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Craig Carroll to CEO.

Half Moon Bay Brewing Company was established in 2000 as a casual coastal California restaurant, the brewery was added in 2003 and the business also operates The Inn at Mavericks, The Mavericks Event Center, and The Pacific Standard Tap Room in Berkeley, California.

Craig Carroll started working at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company when he was 18 years old, and has been with the brewing company for over 12 years. He began as a host, moving up to busser, server, and then bartender. He later became a part-time beer delivery driver, eventually leading him to become Head of Beer Distribution and Sales where under his leadership, beer production has doubled since 2014. He has overseen the development of the Mavericks Beer Company brand and spearheaded the rebranding implementation of the core line of Half Moon Bay Brewing Company beers.

Carroll is excited to see growth in the restaurant management team and brewing team, and is looking forward to new areas of opportunity at Mavericks Event Center (including a new seasonal dinner series). He is also committed to Half Moon Bay Brewing Company’s community focus. “Hosting and sponsoring the Coastside Brew Fest, Coastside Gives, and other non-profits, plus our continued Brews&Views community forum, Green Business and Ocean Friendly Restaurant certification, are also vital to our core mission.”

“We are thrilled to promote Craig to CEO. He knows the business inside and out. We pride ourselves on encouraging growth and loyalty in our team, and Craig embodies the potential when you invest in great talent.” –Lenny Mendonca, Owner/Founder of Half Moon Bay Brewing Company
