Garage Brewing Co. Releases Holidation Belgian-Style Strong Ale

TEMECULA, Calif.  Making its fourth appearance and just in time for the holidays, Garage Brewing Co. brewed up some good cheer in the form of Holidation, a Belgian style strong ale.

“When I began making Holidation, I wanted to do something a little different from the tradition of making holiday beers using Stouts and Porters,” Guy Bartmess, head brewer at Garage Brewing Co., said. “I wanted to use a strong beer, because part of the holiday season is about enjoying beers that give people good cheer.”

He said he also wanted to use seasonal flavors such as spices and baked goods like cobblers and pies.

“When you only make a beer once a year it takes time to come across the right combination of ingredients,” he said. “This is the best version we’ve made.”

Holidation is available in draft, 22oz bottles, 12oz six packs and twelve packs.

Holidation

ABV 9.4%

Flavor: Nutmeg, cinnamon, peach

Balance: Spice and fruit
