Fremont Brewing Releases Pride Kolsch for Pride Month

SEATTLE – Fremont Brewing of Seattle, Washington will be releasing its Pride Kolsch again this year in celebration of Pride month. Pride Kolsch will be distributed across Washington on draft and in 16oz cans to coincide with Pride events state-wide. Fremont will host their official Pride Kickoff Celebration featuring two Pride Kolsch infusions at their Urban Beer Garden on June 22, 2017 from 5-10pm. Proceeds from Pride Kolsch sales will be donated to Lambert House and Ingersoll Gender Center.

The vision behind Pride Kolsch is to create and foster an LGBTQ community within the craft beer world, to stand up for the safety and self-determination of this community, and to ensure that everyone can be proud of who they are, who they like, and what they drink.

Using local Skagit Valley malt and Huell Melon and Laurel hops, Pride Kolsch delivers a crisp, refreshing summer taste. “With every sip, you are supporting and strengthening a world where we can be ourselves no matter what,” said Nik Hagen, Fremont’s Community Outreach Liaison and Pride Kolsch Project Lead. “Queer members of staff were involved with every step of the beer from its inception to the brew, and all of us here at Fremont could not be more excited to share it!”

Pride Kolsch is all about love. A love for beer, a love for each other, and supporting and fighting for the indisputable right to love.
