Fremont Brewing Releases Pride Kölsch

SEATTLE — Fremont Brewing will be releasing its Pride Kölsch again this year in celebration of Pride month and it will be available across their distribution territories in kegs and (very pretty) 16-ounce cans. Fremont will host their official Pride Kickoff Celebration featuring two Pride Kölsch randals at their Urban Beer Garden on June 7, 2018 starting at 5:00 pm. There will be subsequent release events at key accounts in Southern California later in June and early July and those dates and locations will soon be available on our California events page.

Proceeds from Pride Kölsch sales will benefit Washington’sPride Foundation, Entre Hermanos in Seattle, the Trevor Project in Los Angeles and The Community Center in San Diego.

“Our goal with Pride Kölsch is to stand up for the safety and self-determination of LGBTQ people and support the work of non-profits serving the LGBTQ community,” said Matt Lincecum, Fremont Brewing CEO. “Ultimately, Pride Kölsch is all about love. A love for beer, a love for each other, and supporting and fighting for the indisputable right to love.”

Made with 2-Row Pale malt and White Wheat and Huell Melon and Loral hops, Pride Kölsch delivers a crisp, refreshing summer taste with hints of melon, berry, and orange peel. Refreshing and imminently accessible, Pride Kölsch is celebration in a glass.
