Fremont Brewing Announces Spring Seasonal Releases

SEATTLE — Fremont Brewing’s 2018 spring seasonal is a trilogy of beers to be released monthly, beginning with Stone Squirrel Coffee Porter at 11:00 a.m. on January 2nd at Fremont’s Urban Beer Garden and available on draft, 6- and 12-packs, and 22-oz bottles throughout our distribution footprint. Mountain Daisy India Pale Ale will be out in February, followed by Parkland Pils in March.

“Spring is the season of renewal and invention, so we decided to offer not one, but three new beers for our Spring Seasonal this year,” said Matt Lincecum, Owner/CEO of Fremont Brewing. “The January beer is Stone Squirrel, a Coffee Porter. Snuggle up to the Stone Squirrel, and enjoy the gentle embrace of rich chocolate, coffee, and roasted toffee flavors.”

Stone Squirrel is brewed with locally roasted, cold- brewed coffee, and chocolate and roast malts on top of a base of pale malt and Yakima Valley hops.

  • Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Munich, C-60, Carafa 2 Special, and Chocolate malts, Rolled Oats, Columbus hops, and Tony’s Café Carmelita coffee.
  • ABV: 5.4% IBU: 25
  • Color: Deep, rich brown
  • Aroma: Chocolate, coffee, sweet
  • Flavor: Roasted malts, caramel, coffee
  • Availability: January 1 – January 31
