ORLANDO, Fla. — Since opening on January 20th, Ellipsis Brewing has created a buzz in the Florida craft beer scene, particularly when it comes to juicy New England style IPAs. To toast a six-month milestone, Ellipsis will drop five special release NEIPAs between July 16th and July 20th.
5 Days of Haze will begin and end with a big batch release. Pinks & Greens with Galaxy, a citrusy 6.3% ale, will kick off the event on Monday, July 16th and the festivities will finish on Friday the 20th with the tapping of By Your Powers Combined, the first 10-barrel run of the company’s highest-rated New England style beer. The small batch beers to be tapped in the days between will be Crypto Currency conditioned with Mosaic hops (a 7% NEIPA), Milk District with El Dorado (a lactose NEIPA), and Y Can’t I BRU-1 with Citra (a sessionable NEIPA). “Each of the release beers leading up to the anniversary is one of our base recipes treated with one of the hops from By Your Powers Combined,” explains co-owner Matthew Lee.
Friday the 20th will mark the microbrewery’s half birthday. Alongside the release of By Your Powers Combined, a double dry hopped brew, Ellipsis will host Adler’s craft burger food truck and CayCakes vegan bakery. Ellipsis Brewing will collaborate with these businesses to offer suggested beer and food pairings. There will also be live music by the Toho Water Supply Band from 6-9PM.
