Wixom, MI – Drafting Table Brewing Company proudly announces its Grand Opening planned for Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight. Eight masterfully crafted beers will be on tap for the event, and the Wixom Downtown Development Authority will be assisting with the event and parking.
“We are excited for the Drafting Table to open next Saturday,” says Debra Barker, Director of Economic Development for the City of Wixom. “This is the type of small business that will draw people to our expanding Village Center Area downtown and is right in line with Main Street Oakland County’s business development initiatives. Our local businesses and residents are really looking forward to it.”
Partnering with Wixom’s downtown restaurants, Drafting Table patrons can order takeout and bring their own food into the brewery to eat while enjoying a cold draught. “We are so glad to finally be opening our doors after almost a year of construction and government approvals,” says Owner and Head Brewer, Aaron Rzeznik. “We will have quite a variety of beer styles and plan to start with some of my favorite recipes, such as a Saison, IPA, Stout and Imperial IPA, to name a few. We have been brewing day and night to make sure that we will have plenty of beer on tap.”
The pub side of the operation was designed by Aaron’s wife and co-owner, Kristin Rzeznik, who also works professionally as an interior designer. “We created a blend of an industrial and natural interior by using an assortment of materials including wood, concrete, brick, and metal. We incorporated some unique design elements, including a bar-top that is a mix of live-edge wood and concrete, a drafting table top wall to house the mugs for members, hand crafted tables, brick walls, and wall art made up of drafting tools, blue prints, and sketches. The space is warm and inviting, due to a blend of paint colors, brick and creative lighting. The pub accommodates over 100 patrons mixing community style seating, cozy four-top tables, an authentic Stammtisch area, and a lively bar,” commented Kristin.
Drafting Table Brewing Company is located on Pontiac Trail along a popular bike path and near restaurants that attract a lot of foot traffic. “We are very excited to be part of such a vibrant community and cannot wait to share our passion of beer with it,” says Aaron.
