Devil’s Canyon Releases Five-Year Barrel Aged Pêche Lambic

SAN CARLOS, Calif. — Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company releases its five-year Barrel Aged Pêche Lambic on Friday, August 10, only in the brewery’s taproom. Part of the Devil’s Canyon’s Barrel Aged series, Pêche Lambic showcases in 500 mL (16.9 oz) bottles while supplies last.

“This was a five-year passion project for me,” said brewery owner Chris Garrett. “The end result is phenomenal – complex but approachable, with tartness and acidity complementing the sweet peach notes, and a crisp, dry finish. It’s also an amazing value for a beer at this level.”

Cellar-aged on oak cabernet barrels, the Lambic contains both yellow and white California peaches, macerated and added at different stages. With evaporation loss over the five-year period, fewer than 50 cases of 500 mL (16.9 oz) bottles remain available for purchase.

Pêche Lambic debuts on August 10 at Devil’s Canyon’s community-oriented Beer Garden Fridays, where all are welcome. Past Barrel Aged releases, such as the Imperial Stout and VSAA (Very Special Amber Ale) sold out in just a day. A private guided tasting open only to Devil’s Canyon Beer Club members will accompany the public release.

“Craft aficionados will love this, and it’s a great entry point for casual drinkers to get to know barrel-aged products,” said Garrett. “We can’t wait for folks to try it.”
