Catawba Brewing Releases Small-Batch Pink Guava Grisette

MORGANTON, N.C. — Catawba Brewing is now pouring a Small Batch Pink Guava Grisette (4.9 percent ABV) exclusively at their four tasting rooms. This refreshing session beer reimagines the traditional 19th century working class ales of Southern Belgium for a more tropical climate. Brewed with a generous portion of flaked wheat, it showcases the fruity esters of its farmhouse ale yeast strain. It was then amplified by an addition of over 300 pounds of pink guava puree.

Pink Guava Grisette is Passport Beer #13 in Catawba’s 2018 Small Batch rewards program. Participants with 13 stamps in their passport booklets may redeem the “First Layover” prize at any of Catawba’s tasting rooms. There will be an additional grand prize drawing on April 12 for passport holders who achieve a perfect First Quarter, collecting all 13 stamps to date.
