Brewbound’s ‘Brew Talks’ Travels to the Windy City on April 9

Wirtz Beverage, Illinois’ newest craft beer distributor, will discuss brand building and best practices in craft beer distribution during Brewbound’s next Brew Talks event, which will be held on April 9 in Chicago.

The event will be streaming live online starting at 8pm EST for those who are unable to attend in Chicago.

Beer industry professionals are invited to join Brewbound at one of Chicago’s most heralded craft beer establishments, The Hopleaf (5148 N Clark St Chicago, IL 60640), at 6:30 p.m. for this free evening of education and networking.

The discussion will focus on the ways both craft brewers and distributors can enhance business relationships to better grow a brand in key markets. David Kahle, the craft brand manager for Wirtz Beverage and Deschutes Brewery’s Gavin Stoub, the Illinois market sales manager in charge of managing distributor and account relationships and Chad Wulff, the Chicago-area sales representative for Oskar Blues will be featured.

The talk, moderated by Brewbound.com editor Chris Furnari, will draw inspiration from the three Brew Talks events held in Boston, Mass., Portland, Maine, and Washington D.C. that have already been held this year. At those meetups, speakers and panelists explored ideas about authenticity, differentiation, capacity constraints and earning local tap handles.
