West Chester, PA — Boxcar Brewing Company is hosting a Halloween themed Ride the Rails event.
Ride the Rails is a nostalgic train ride through picturesque Chester County, PA. Guests board 1930’s style train cars and head down the historical West Chester Railroad to the Glen Mills Picnic Park. There they will be met with live music from a local band, great food and of course, Boxcar beer (all of their best brews)!
“Boxcar is a very community focused brewery with community bottling days every week to get our patrons involved as much as we can”, says Jamie Robinson, co-owner of Boxcar. “This event is the perfect way to give back to a community that has really helped to get us to where we are today; a fun and memorable experience benefiting a great community non-profit”.
Boxcar hosts these Ride the Rails event bi-annually in the summer and the fall to benefit the all-volunteer run West Chester Railroad. With the fall upon us, it’s time for Boxcar’s Halloween themed Ride the Rails event. There are two dates scheduled for the event, Friday, October 25th from 7-11pm and Saturday, October 26th from 5-9pm. Halloween costumes are welcome, and even encouraged, to fully get into the spirit of the season and the event! Attendees must be 21 older.
The event is a great success every year, with tickets selling out so fast that they sometimes have to add an additional date. This season is no exception. The Saturday, October 26th tickets have already sold out and the event is still several weeks away!
“We love hosting the Ride the Rails events. They are really a highlight of our year and one of the most anticipated things that Boxcar does”, says Kymberly Robinson, co-owner of Boxcar. “The brewery got its name from the long lineage of railroad workers in our family so this event is very close to our hearts”.
