Sheridan, WY – Black Tooth Brewing Company is proud to announce that the construction of their 8,500 Sq. Ft. production facility is 30 days from completion. This Wyoming based brewery has gone through a complete transformation over the past year. From the installation of a fully automated 30-barrel brew house, to a complete rebranding of their company.

Currently, Black Tooth Brewing produces 2,500 barrels each year, but will soon grow to over 15,000 barrels annually within the next two years. After winning awards at; North American Brewers festival, US Open, World Beer Cup, Great American Beer Festival, European Beer Star Awards and the Australian International Beer Awards in 2014, Black Tooth Brewing is looking to the future.

“We never expected to see this kind of growth so quickly as well as this kind of demand only four years into it.” said Travis Zeilstra, Brew Master and Co-Founder of Black Tooth Brewing, who previously brewed at Montana Brewing Company of Billings and Pelican Pub & Brewery of Pacific City, OR.

This expansion will allow for the brewery team to reach 50,000 barrels annually with a dual brew house facility. They plan on using their existing 10-barrel two-vessel Newland system for barrel aging and lager pilot batches, while ramping up production of their three flagships with the new 30-barrel four-vessel Sprinkman brew house.

W.M. Sprinkman from Franksville, WI. The company that Black Tooth Brewing partnered with over a year ago, built the 30-barrel brew house that now sits in the heart of Sheridan, WY. This installation will allow Black Tooth Brewing to be the largest microbrewery in the state of Wyoming and a brewery leader in the Northern Rockies. Black Tooth Beers will be offered in draft and in can assortments within seven states surrounding Wyoming over the next five years.

The Black Tooth Brewing crew focuses on brewing exceptional session beers. Additionally, as its beer names portray, Black Tooth embraces a modern, but yet western theme due to what surrounds them in an ever-growing area of the northern Rockies. The brewery has a sense of tradition and pride, inside and outside of the brewery. The tagline, “Drink the West”, will be joined to Black Tooth’s logo, as it speaks directly to the progressive, but yet nostalgic practices with which Black Tooth bases its culture off of: the American west and of course, crafting great beer.

Black Tooth Brewing plans to roll out gradually across the northern Rockies, primarily due to the fact that it’s sales currently are up 40% YTD in the first quarter of this year and 170% up during 2014.

In the meantime, Black Tooth Brewing will be hosting a “Drink The West”, expansion party on Saturday, May 30th starting at noon. There will be live music from Wyoming based artist, John Kirlin and The Teka Brock Band starting at 2 PM.

Stay attentive among the sea of craft beers, and keep your eyes peeled for this up and coming brewery!
