HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — After seven successful years of self-distribution Beachwood Brewing of Huntington Beach and Long Beach has decided to partner with Stone Distributing Co. to expand availability of their beers throughout Southern California.
“As a bar owner, Stone Distributing Co. has always impressed me with their sales staff, knowledge and customer service. When we started looking for a distributor to help us broaden the availability of our beers, it was a natural match,” says Beachwood Brewing owner Gabriel Gordon. “They have a long history of bringing brands to market that is customer focused and disciplined, and as we’ve always been a brand that considers our customers to be our friends, our shared values with Stone are uniquely aligned.”
Beachwood Brewing is set to join the Stone Distributing Co. portfolio on August 6th of this year. The partnership will also include distribution of Beachwood’s Belgian-style sour ale portfolio from the Blendery.
“Even though we’re exceeding our original sales projections, the overwhelming majority of our beer is sold within a 50 mile radius of the brewery. Partnering with Stone Distributing Co. provides us the opportunity to send our beer further afield,” adds Julian Shrago owner and brewmaster.
Beachwood’s line-up of beers will remain as varied as customers are accustomed to seeing today, from West-coast style IPAs and imperial coffee stouts to fruited Belgian-style sour ales.
Shrago adds, “We’re excited to be partnering with Stone Distributing Co. to share our beer with more people across Southern California. More Beachwood is on the way!”
