Madison, Wis. –Regional Craft Brewery Ale Asylum has partnered with Madison radio station 105.5 Triple M to release HuMMMane India Brown Ale, a beer created to support Wisconsin-based charities.

This unique partnership came to fruition after 105.5 Triple Mapproached the brewery with the idea in early 2014. The brewery picked a style of beer that would be approachable for both the craft beer enthusiast and the adventurous novice willing to give it a try in the spirit of philanthropy. Once that was established, the two businesses chose Badger Honor Flight as their sponsored charity. “Writing a check is one way to make a difference for a local charity but we want the release ofHuMMMane to accomplish more than that. Through our promotional partnership with Madison’s 105.5 Triple M, we can create a level of awareness about Badger Honor Flight to thousands of people. We believe this can make a big difference.” quotes Otto Dilba, Co-Founder of Ale Asylum.

The purpose of the Badger Honor Flight is to ensure that World War II, Korean, and terminally ill veterans from any war have the opportunity to see the memorials that have been erected in their honor. The Badger Honor Flight organization provides all amenities to the veterans, including all transportation, meals, jackets, and shirts. Everything is free to the veterans because of how much they have sacrificed for this country. Radio Personality for 105.5 Triple M, Kitty Dunn, has a personal tie to the project, “My dad was a World War II veteran, so I’m especially proud of our connection with Badger Honor Flight. And I’m always excited to try new and unique beers, especially from Ale Asylum. If it comes from Ale Asylum, you know it will be great.”

A VIP party at the Ale Asylum brewery on January 28 will kick off the release of HuMMMane, followed by a public release party at the High Noon Saloon on January 29 featuring a live performance by The Earthlings at 7pm. A series of free sampling eventsthroughout February and March in the greater Madison area will conclude with a wrap party in the spring (date TBD).
