Alamo Drafthouse and Odell Brewing Introduce Zest Burster IPA

Austin, TX — Alamo Drafthouse and Odell Brewing are pleased to announce the arrival of a new, otherworldly limited-batch IPA. Open your airlocks, beer fans, for Zest Burster Citrus IPA. Hatched with a big citrus bite thanks to Citra and Cascade hop varieties and an orange peel finish, this rare breed brew will be available throughout the month of May at Alamo Drafthouse locations in Texas, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, and Arizona, while supplies last.

“This is a refreshing beer that’ll pair nicely with ANY movie watching this summer at Alamo Drafthouse, but it’ll go especially well with Sir Ridley’s deep space movie,” says John Gross, Director of National Beer Promotions at Alamo Drafthouse.” We’re extremely proud to be serving this creatively hop-forward beer from such an innovative and respected brewery like Odell.”

Zest Burster Citrus IPA is the third in a line of deliciously drinkable co-presentations between Alamo Drafthouse and the Fort Collins, Colorado, craft beer powerhouse. Bursting with full-flower hop flavor, this latest creation is sure to set the hearts of hopheads racing.

“Citra and Cascade hops are renowned for their bright, tongue-biting flavor profiles,” explains Bill Beymer, Odell Brewing Head Brewer. “These beauties were added throughout the brew, after the brew, and even after fermentation, along with a healthy dose of orange zest for good measure. Zest Burster explodes with aroma and complexity.”

Zest Burster Citrus IPA is a draft-only offering, available at Alamo Drafthouse locations and a very small number of other outlets across the country. Supplies are very limited. Once Zest Burster Citrus IPA is gone, it’s gone for good – no sequels, resurrections, or reboots.
