AC Golden Brewing Releases Colorado Native Saison

Golden, Colorado – AC Golden Brewing Company’s Colorado Native Saison returns just in time to quench a thirst for summer.

Colorado Native Saison is brewed with 100 percent Colorado ingredients, including barley and wheat grown in the San Luis Valley, Colorado-grown hops from the Western Slope, a proprietary blend of funky yeast from Woodland Park, and Rocky Mountain water from a natural watershed beginning near the Berthoud Summit at 11,300 feet.

Colorado Native Saison pairs well with strong cheeses, light flavored meats, and fish. It has a light, crisp flavor with notes of bubble gum, circus peanut and citrus fruits. It finishes with a slight tartness. ABV is 5.4%.

Saisons originated in Belgium. Brewed in the cooler months, the beers were then stored for enjoying during the warmer months.

Colorado Native Saison is one of four specialty brews from AC Golden Brewing this year. First out was Colorado Native Imperial Porter. Saison is the second special release for 2017, on shelves April 7.

AC Golden Brewing Company brews beers with 100 percent Colorado ingredients, making it the natural choice for beer drinkers who want to stay local with their choices. The brewer offers four year-round beers: Colorado Native Amber Lager, Colorado Native Golden Lager, Colorado Native IPL, and Colorado Native Pilsner. It also releases several specialty beers under the Colorado Native label throughout the year.
