East Aurora, NY — 42 North Brewing Company and Patina Restaurant Group announce their new partnership providing Patina with a beer brewed exclusively for their New York State restaurants. The beer, Patina Cayuga Wheat, features New York State wheat malt and New York’s native grape, Cayuga. The beer is light, smooth and refreshing with a mild breadiness and pleasant hop flavors reminiscent of white grapes.
Patina 250, the Buffalo restaurant that launched to positive reviews and buzz last fall, has been serving brews from 42 North since opening. As guest demand grew, the opportunity to create a bespoke brew arose. 42 North crafted Patina Cayuga Wheat with the idea of showcasing ingredients and flavors native to Western New York.
The partnership with Patina provides 42 North with its first distribution in New York City. The beer is now available on tap at Patina’s Rockefeller Center (Rock Center Café, Summer Garden & Bar) and Empire State Building (STATE Grill and Bar) restaurants, as well as Patina 250 in Buffalo, NY. It’s also available at 42 North’s taproom in East Aurora, NY.
