Woodchuck Hard Cider is excited to announce that fan favorite Belgian White will be released for a limited time under the Tank Series line of ciders. For those who do not remember, Belgian White was previously a part of the Private Reserveline, and ever since we took it out of rotation, we have had fans clamoring for it.

At the National Beer Wholesalers Association meeting in September, Nielsen vice president Danny Brager delivered a simple message to attendees who stopped by his early morning breakout session: Cider is back. According to data from the firm, off-premise sales of hard cider were up 6 percent over the 52-week period ending on August 11. But if you look at the most recent 26-week period, also ending August 11, category-wide sales were up 13 percent.

Each cider will be in the market for three to four months and then will be replaced by the next round of Tank Series innovation.

Irish cider company C&C Group plc., owner of the Vermont Hard Cider Company, today announced that it will end its 2-year-old U.S. marketing and distribution agreement with Pabst Brewing on April 1. In a letter to distributors and retailers, Vermont Hard Cider — whose brands include Woodchuck, Gumption, and Wyder’s, among others — said the two companies mutually agreed to terminate the strategic partnership forged in December 2015.
