In a bold move to fortify its commitment to the Bloomington community, Switchyard Brewing Company has unveiled its Community Equity Round.

Beginning Monday, March 14, 2022 Switchyard Brewing Company, located in the growing college town of Bloomington–just a few blocks from the Indiana University Campus–will begin accepting Bitcoin cryptocurrency in their downtown taproom for all orders.

In an op-ed she wrote in support of paid family leave for small businesses, Switchyard Brewing Company co-founder Kristin Cummings wrote that the company has strived to “offer better benefits and a better work-life balance” to its workforce. Voting has started for the Brewers Association’s (BA) board of directors election and ends November 17.

As our city emerges from a year apart and looks forward, Wild Heaven Beer, Georgia’s 4th oldest production craft brewery, has teamed up with Switchyards All-City Club, the Atlanta-based community of neighborhood work clubs created by Scoutmob founder Michael Tavani to make a new kind of beer called Big Atlanta Energy.

Starting May 28, the long awaited Switchyard Brewing Company will open their doors to the public.

Bloomington, Indiana startup Switchyard Brewing Company has executed a long-term lease and taken possession of the former Jakes Night Club building at 419 North Walnut Street in downtown Bloomington.
