Peak is a craft brewing company, dedicated to making delicious beer using local, artisan and organic ingredients.
With roots in home brewing back in the 90s, brewer Jon Cadoux set about combining his love for beer with an ethic for sustainability. Whenever possible, he would go out and find ingredients from local organic farmers for his homebrews. It was a defining day when Jon discovered that you don’t need to sacrifice flavor for sustainability, but that better ingredients actually made the beer more delicious.

Peak Organic Brewing Co. is releasing two new iterations of their flagship Peak IPA, elevating the pine and citrus characteristics to their most flavorful levels yet. Evergreen IPA & Crush IPA each begin with the bright, floral characteristics of Peak IPA, but use brand new blends that are designed to highlight two ends of the hop spectrum – pine and citrus.
If Peak is said to have a cult following, it’s likely due to the brewery’s Summer offering – Summer Session. Peak has released Summer Session for 5 straight years, each iteration showcasing the unique qualities of that years’ hop harvest. A kolsch-style wheat beer, Summer Session combines the crispness and drinkability of a wheat beer with the bright, citrus aromatics of a West-Coast pale ale. It’s everything you could ever want in a porch-drinking, boat-lounging, or beach-going beer – aroma, flavor, and crispness.
Peak Organic Brewing Co. is releasing a brand new Spring offering that is a true testament to the flavor of their local, organic ingredients. High Note is a Belgian White Ale featuring local wheat grown by Thor Oechsner at Oechsner Farms in Newfield, NY.
Hands got dirty for the 2016 release of Ginger Saison, the flagship beer of Peak’s Saison Series. Last fall, the entire company visited Charlie’s Redhouse Farm in Winchendon, Massachusetts to take part in this year’s ginger harvest, alongside farmer Kees Overgaag. With rakes, buckets and brushes in hand, the Peak team dug through rows and rows of the amazingly pungent crop, adding an extra personal touch to this year’s batch of Ginger Saison.
Peak and The City Bakery are thrilled to announce the release of their annual holiday collaboration, the Holiday Saison. Both Peak and The City Bakery have their ethos rooted in a passion for using the finest quality ingredients to create the freshest and most flavorful products. With that shared passion as the centerpiece for their collaboration beer – a dark malted, spiced Saison brewed with a blend of The City Bakery’s famous holiday spices – the two companies hope to showcase an amazingly flavorful, complex sensory experience.
Peak Organic Brewing once again takes a unique approach to seasonal releases, marrying a Winter beer with a hop-forward Session IPA. As the colder weather approaches and beer drinkers are greeted by rich, roasty stouts and porters, Peak is excited to mix it up with their Winter Session – a dry-hopped dark wheat ale, combining the delicious fruity hoppiness of a session IPA with the rich, toasty body of a classic Winter ale.
PORTLAND, MAINE – Peak Organic Brewing is set to release one of their most flavorful and experimental beers of the past 5 years, and it’s coming in the surprising form of a pilsner. Super Fresh, which Peak is referring to as the assertive big brother of their highly acclaimed Fresh Cut pilsner, will be the… Read more »

Owned by employees and powered by wind, New Belgium has long touted its commitment to the social good. The latest designation the company is after, though, is one that has been seemingly celebrated and challenged in equal measure. New Belgium is in the process of becoming non-GMO verified.
Peak Organic Brewing’s Citrus Saison stretches the bounds of the saison style in most refreshing of ways. As a follow up to their Ginger Saison release, the Citrus Saison puts a twist on a light Belgian farmhouse ale by blending in organic lemon and lime, creating a beer that has a truly unique balance of citrus and spice characteristics.
Moving the country-wide explosion of sessionable beers forward, the Peak Organic Brewing Company has released the NEW Peak Nitro Stout – a soft 4.7% Nitro Stout with a toasty black malt flavor and an airy mouthfeel.
PORTLAND, Maine — Today, Peak Organic Brewing Co. announced that it has become the first brewer to receive Non-GMO Project verification for its beer.
Peak Organic beers are headed west. Sales of the Portland, Maine-based company’s beers began on Tuesday in San Francisco through wholesaler Matagrano Inc. The move out west marks a slight shift in distribution strategy for the company: until this week, it had only sent its beers as far west as Georgia.
