John McKenna has written and consulted extensively in the area of foods and beverages. Before joining BevNET to write Energy Drinks 2003, John authored a report on Functional Foods and Beverages and worked as a reporter for FDC Reports covering dietary supplements. John is a graduate of Tufts University.
Despite participating in the largest annual tradeshow for an industry that typically measures innovation in units per minute and is always pursuing economies of scale, a number of the exhibitors at this year’s PACK EXPO offered slower, smaller versions of their products in order to grab the attention of craft brewers.
BrewExpo America took place on May 3 & 4 this year at San Diego Town & Country Resort and Conference Center. BrewExpo America is the tradeshow component of the annual Craft Brewers Conference. This year’s CBC drew a record 4,500 attendees.
