Jessica Infante joined Brewbound in 2019 after nearly a decade in a variety of marketing roles in the craft beer industry. Prior to that, she was a daily newspaper reporter at the Jersey Shore. Jess holds a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communication from Emerson College. She is a certified Cicerone and lives in Salem, Massachusetts.

Reyes Strikes Again with Deal for Paradise Beverage in Hawaii

The Reyes Beer Division continues to wheel and deal. Just one day after revealing a 16 million case deal for Capitol Wright Distributing in Austin, Texas, the largest beer wholesaler in the U.S. announced today an agreement to acquire Paradise Beverage in Hawaii, the company’s 12th market. The transaction is slated to close in early December.

People Moves: Molson Coors Promotes Sales Execs; Eight Beer Names Experiential Marketing Director; A-B Hires Craft Communications Lead

As Molson Coors sales chief Kevin Doyle prepares to retire after nearly 40 years, the company has promoted two sales executives as part of its succession planning. Chief commercial solutions officer Jeff Long will be promoted to chief customer officer, a role that incoming U.S. president of sales and distributor operations Brian Fiero will vacate upon Doyle’s retirement at the end of the year.

NielsenIQ: Non-Alc Beer, Wine and Spirits Doubled Since 2019; Beer Accounts for 85.3% of Non-Alc Category

Dollar sales of non-alcoholic beer, wine and spirits at off-premise retailers have more than doubled in the last three years, according to market research firm NielsenIQ. In 2019, non-alc versions of traditional beverage-alcohol products earned $178.7 million at off-premise retailers. In the 52 weeks ending August 20, their dollar sales reached $395.2 million, according to IRI.
