Rogue Celebrates Mother’s Day with MoM Hefeweizen

Newport, Oregon – Rogue celebrates mothers everywhere with the release of MoM Hefeweizen, an ale brewed with Oregon Rose Petals crafted specifically for Mother’s Day.

MoM Hefeweizen is infused with roses that grow on Rogue Farms. Rogue Brewmaster John Maier takes the hand-picked petals and adds them to the brew as part of a proprietary palate of Rogue Farms ingredients: Revolution Hops, and DareTM & RiskTM Malts grown and harvested on Rogue Farms in Independence & Tygh Valley, Oregon. From ground to glass, you can taste the difference.

Dedicated to the Mother in each of us, MoM Hefeweizen pays tribute to Mo Niemi (1912-1992) whose spirit has indelibly shaped the daily life of Newport, Oregon, home of Rogue Ales & Spirits. Mo, founder of world famous Mo’s Restaurants, was Rogue’s first landlord and surrogate Mom in Newport.

Rogue MoM Hefeweizen is available nationwide April 1st on draft and in 22oz serigraphed bottles.

Rogue Ales and Spirits is an artisan varietal brewery and distillery founded in Oregon in 1988, as one of America’s first 50

microbreweries. Rogue has won more than 1,000 awards for taste and quality and is available in all 50 states and 32 countries. Since 2008, Rogue has remained committed to saving the terroir of Oregon hops, barley, and roses, one acre at a time, by growing their own.
