Widmer Brothers, in their continued effort to “re-image” the brand has re-named what was once Sunburn Summer Brew to the Citra Blonde Summer Brew in honor of the Citra Hop it is brewed with.
While the style as a whole does not lend itself to much flavor from the onset, this offering does a nice job of presenting some sweet citrus aromas on first sniff. Caramel malts and orange are the most dominant in smell and again in taste.
