The U.S. Open Beer Championship announced the winners over the July 4th weekend. Over 2,500 beers were entered this year in 68 categories from breweries from around the world. Over 20 international breweries entered the competition.

Florida Lager, an American Style Amber Lager previously won a Silver Medal in the Premium Lager category in the 2011 U.S. Open Beer Championship. Florida Lager also won a Bronze Medal in the Amber Lager category at the 2011 Great American Beer Festival┬«.
