Bell’s to Hire More than 100 People at Inaugural Career Fair

With a multiple expansion initiatives already underway, Bell’s Brewery said it plans to hire more than 100 people in an effort to fill both full- and part-time positions at its brewery and retail locations.

On October 25, in tandem with the job recruitment and placement firm EmploymentGroup the brewery will conduct onsite interviews at its facility in Comstock, Mich. to immediately fill 20 positions in maintenance, packaging, shipping and receiving, facilities, housekeeping, internet technology, and at its Eccentric Café Kitchen. Additional positions will become available later in 2015, per a company statement.

Bell’s, the 7th largest craft brewery in the country, currently employs 290 people and distributes beer to 20 states.

“This isn’t just a career fair,” said Carrie Overton, Bell’s director of human resources. “It’s about adding to our family. Because of the tremendous support we have received from our community and our fans, we are growing and we need more people.”

Interested applicants must be 18 or older and arrive equipped with a resume between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the 25th.Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision coverage, a 401k program, life insurance, and yes, of course, beer.
