Alamo Drafthouse Littleton to Raise Money for Colorado Relief

LITTLETON, Colo. — Alamo Drafthouse Littleton is pleased to announce that it has designated this Sunday as a special benefit day to raise money to aid in the much needed relief after last week’s devastating floods in Colorado.

This Sunday, September 22nd from 10am to the last show at 10:45pm the Alamo will donate 10% of ALL ticket sales along with ALL food and beverage sales to the Colorado chapter of the Red Cross. Additionally, this Friday through Sunday we will be taking canned food donations in our lobby for the Community Food Share in Niwot, CO which serves the area which has been hit hardest by this catastrophe. The CFS is requesting the following items the most:canned fruit, 100% fruit juice, cold & hot cereal, canned tuna/fish and meat, canned chili and stew, pasta sauce and peanut butter. To ease in this process, we ask that no household items or clothing be dropped off at this time.

Of the benefit, Alamo Littleton Owner Tom DeFrancia says, “There has been tremendous loss and damage in so many Colorado communities. As a Boulder resident I have witnessed the devastation and the tremendous response of the community pulling together to help one another. Our Alamo community wants to do what we can to help as well.”

Alamo Drafthouse Littleton is located at 7301 S Santa Fe Dr., Unit #850, Littleton, CO 80120 in the Aspen Grove Shopping Center. A variety of films will be playing all day long for the benefit including: PRISONERS, THE FAMILY, INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2, RIDDICK, THE WORLD’S END, Lee Daniels’ THE BUTLER, WE’RE THE MILLERS and a special screening of the feel-good sports classic HOOSIERS at 6:40pm.
