BEAVERTON, Ore. (January 14, 2026) – Grab a pint; Tap Season is back in Tualatin Valley. From January 15 to March 15, Explore Tualatin Valley will once again toast its craft beer and cider scene with two full months of special events, fresh releases, and returning fan favorites.
What to Expect During Tap Season:
- Ale-Paca IPA Limited-Edition Beer: A new brew of the Tap Season Ale-Paca IPA returns in January. This West Coast–style IPA is a collaboration among 15 Tualatin Valley brewers who contributed to the recipe and brewing process. The beer was spearheaded by Josh Johnson and Roger Wood of Binary Brewing Co., Chris Sjolin of Cooper Mountain Ale Works, Alex Kircher of Golden Valley Brewing and Restaurant, and Ryan Still of Lazy Days Brewing Co. The limited-edition IPA will be available on tap at select taprooms and in cans.
- Kick-Off Party: The official Tap Season Kick-Off Party is open to the public on Saturday, January 24, from 1–4 p.m. at Hillsboro Downtown Station. This family-friendly, beer-forward event will feature the 2026 collaboration beer launch, special Tualatin Valley pours, an ale-paca snuggle station, swag, activities, and promotions and raffles from 105.9 "The Brew."
- Tualatin Valley Ale Trail Mobile Passport: The Ale Trail Mobile Passport also returns for Tap Season, starting January 15 and running through March 15 (pre-orders begin January 12). This year, the mobile passport features over 40 Tualatin Valley breweries, cideries, and taprooms, including a new addition: 787 Brewing, Tualatin Valley's first and only Puerto Rican-owned and Latin-inspired brewery and taproom. Many of the participants are offering exclusive deals and discounts throughout the two-month promotion. With each mobile check-in, passport holders receive one entry into a drawing to win a "Mug Club" membership at a participating brewery.
