pFriem Family Brewers is excited to announce their 2025 beer calendar. This year's lineup showcases a diverse and carefully curated selection of beers including core offerings, seasonal specialties, limited editions, and notably, the introduction of their award-winning Pilsner in 16oz cans produced primarily for the on-premise.

Core and Year-Round Staples

“Our 2025 portfolio leans into our quality, consistency, and innovation," said Josh Pfriem, Brewmaster and Co-Founder. "We are stoked to see how much the beer drinker is enjoying our core offerings. These beers are constantly evolving as our process gets better year over year, we introduce new and exciting ingredients into the mix, and as always we let our ever-evolving palate lead the charge! With the rise of music venues, sporting events, and festivals asking for larger format craft beer, this seems like the perfect year to put pFriem Pilsner in 16oz cans; and let’s be honest who doesn’t want their pFriem Pilsner to have a little extra beer in the can during these moments?”

pFriem takes a classical approach to brewing Pilsner, combined with modern craft beer techniques. Imported German malt, and domestically produced German-inspired pilsner malt make a bright and beautiful base for this beer. German-grown hops provide lovely, flowery, grassy, aromatics, and an assertive bitterness. The clean malt flavors, combined with smooth round lager notes are created by cool fermentation and long cold storage. The result is a bright and beautiful beer that expresses floral aromatics, tantalizing malt flavors, and a snappy finish.

“pFriem Pilsner continues to be our most beloved beer and is the foundation of everything we do at pFriem. It’s been incredible to see beer drinkers across the West Coast embrace craft Pilsners and give them the recognition they rightfully deserve. Our fans have been asking us for more Pilsner, and they’ve been asking for it in new formats and at new occasions, such as larger-scale stadiums, music venues, and festivals. To accommodate that, we’re stoked to introduce our new 16oz Pilsner singe-serve can in March 2025.” explains Josh Pfriem.

Pilsner is pFriem’s most-awarded beer and has garnered international acclaim over the years, recently securing the prestigious Gold at the 2024 World Beer Cup®  for German-style Pilsener underscoring its global appeal and exceptional quality.

Rotating Seasonal and Limited Releases

In 2025, pFriem will offer a rotating selection of seasonal & limited Classic styles in 16oz cans, ensuring a fresh and diverse range of IPAs, Pales, and Lagers throughout the year. This continues to be their playground to explore new hops, advanced hop products, new takes on historic styles, and more. They have a few exciting new additions to our seasonal lineup this year including, Earth Day IPA, Mexican Dark Lager, Cosmic Guava IPA, and XPA. Additionally, bi-monthly, beer enthusiasts can anticipate new and unique styles in their Select 375ml bottles, perfect for those seeking a distinctive and premium beer experience.

The Barrel Aged series remains a cornerstone of pFriem’s limited releases, showcasing the depth and complexity of flavors that can be achieved through careful aging in both distillers and wine barrels. As one of the largest barrel-aging programs in the Pacific Northwest, pFriem continues to push boundaries with its Lambic-inspired beers, showcasing traditional spontaneous fermentation techniques and highlighting Northwest-grown fruit. Additionally, the barrel program features distillers’ barrel-aged releases, offering a platform for innovation with a diverse range of ingredients. Many of these offerings, along with exclusive small-batch releases, are available through pFriem’s Beer Club - the pFriemsters Union Local 541.

Availability

The 2025 pFriem beer portfolio will be available across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho with select distribution in Southern California. For more information, please visit pFriem Family Brewers' website.
