(COSTA MESA, Calif.) – Lazy Dog Beer Club, a quarterly membership created by beer lovers, for beer lovers, by the team at Lazy Dog Restaurants, introduces its 23rd quarterly release. The kit named “Mystic Brews” celebrates the magical realm of the unknown.

The kit includes an eight-pack of four uniquely brewed beers from four breweries across the country. Each beer name and label art represents a different form of fortune telling. A zine included with the kit provides an overview of each brewery and beer style, plus tasting notes, ingredients and suggested pairings for each beer.

"With Mystic Brews, we’re inviting our members on a flavorful journey into the enchanting world of craft beer,” said Chris Simms, founder and CEO of Lazy Dog Restaurants. “This kit is a celebration of the unexpected, and it playfully embraces the cosmic energy and magic that was brought to life with our talented brewery partners."

For this release, Lazy Dog Beer Club worked with Hangar 24 Craft Brewing in Redlands, Calif.; Full Circle Brewing Co. in Fresno, Calif.; Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. in Orlando, Fla.; and Kokopelli Beer Company in Westminster, Colo.

“Bavarian Oracle” Oktoberfest-Style Lager// ABV: 5.2% // IBU: 24

This Oktoberfest-style lager has a deep-orange hue and aromatics of toasted malt and noble hops. The can highlights a hooded figure, reminiscent of an oracle sitting at a table staring into their crystal ball. Bavarian Oracle will also be found on draft at all Lazy Dog Restaurant locations, for a limited time and while supplies last.

About the Brewer: Hangar 24 Craft Brewery was founded in 2008 by owner and master Brewer Ben Cook in Redlands, California. The brewery began with a true passion for good beer, the love of flying and the pure enjoyment of being around great friends.

“Master of Fortune” American Wheat Ale // ABV: 5.8% // IBU: 12

This malty brew has a pale-yellow hue and hints of toasted wheat. The label artwork pictures Full Circle Brewing’s skeleton icon dressed as a fortune teller sitting down with a crystal ball.

About the Brewer: Full Circle Brewing opened in 2020 in Fresno, Calif. In 2023, it became the largest Black-owned brewery in the nation, committed to bringing diversity and inclusion to the craft beer community.

“Destiny’s Hand” Double Hazy IPA// ABV: 7.5% // IBU: 35

This double hazy IPA boasts flavors including citrus, passion fruit and melon. The can features a representation of a palmistry hand.

About the Brewer: Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery and tasting room located in the historic Ivanhoe District of Orlando, Fla. The brewery celebrates the spirit and pioneering ways of early 20th century Lake Ivanhoe founder George I. Russell.

“Luna Moth Eclipse” American Pale Ale// ABV: 5.0% // IBU: 50

This crisp, effervescent American pale ale has a balance of stone fruit and tropical notes. The can artwork depicts a luna moth, which symbolizes new beginnings and also represents a continual quest for truth and knowledge.

About the Brewer: Kokopelli Beer Company, established in 2014 in Westminster, Colorado, is the first solely woman-owned and operated brewpub in the state. As a locally rooted establishment in a growing community, Kokopelli Beer Company lives by its motto: "Where Friends Meet Friends and Make New Ones." The name Kokopelli was chosen because the owner lived in Arizona, and the Head Brewer has experience working in the Southwest, making the name a perfect fit for the brewpub.

“Mystic Brews” was brewed in collaboration with Melvin Brewing. This release is only available to qualified Lazy Dog Beer Club members. Those interested in signing up for a Lazy Dog Beer Club membership can sign up online or at any Lazy Dog Restaurant in California, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, Virginia, Illinois or Texas. Guests in Georgia can sign up in-restaurant at any location. Members will then receive a themed beer kit featuring exclusive beer recipes from breweries across the nation for each additional quarter in which they are an active member, plus a continuation of their membership benefits. Membership starts at $39 per quarter.

Lazy Dog Beer Club also has merchandise available online for purchase, including branded T-shirts and hats.
