Ciderboys Bares All With New 'Pear Naked'

Stevens Point, WI -- Ciderboys Cider Co. strips down and celebrates fleshy, ripe pear in its natural glory. Ciderboys Pear Naked Hard Cider is made entirely with 100% pure pear juice, offering an unadulterated, refreshingly-crisp cider experience. 

For new Ciderboys Pear Naked, getting the perfect balance of subtle sweetness, aroma, and brilliant color was no easy feat. "Many hard cider companies blend apple cider with pear juice to make what's known as pear cider," explains Head Cidermaker Mike Schraufnagel. "We wanted to do something simpler...purer, so we fermented 100% pear juice instead. It was a delicious discovery!" Schraufnagel adds, "Like all of our hard ciders Pear Naked is also gluten-free."   

Pear Naked will join year-round favorites First Press and Strawberry Magic. “Pear Naked embodies the true essence of fresh pears, delivering a naturally-sweet yet sophisticated flavor profile,” explains Marketing Director Julie Birrenkott. “Adding Pear Naked to our line-up was like finding the missing piece – and it fits perfectly.” Adds Birrenkott.

New Ciderboys Pear Naked Hard Cider will be offered year-round in six-packs of 12-ounce clear bottles and on tap wherever Ciderboys is sold. Pear Naked joins Ciderboys’ lineup of year-round hard ciders, which include: First Press, traditional hard apple cider and Strawberry Magic, blending the fresh taste of strawberries with crisp apple.
