Brewbound is proud to be an official media partner of this week’s California Craft Beer Summit and Festival in Sacramento. The California Craft Brewers Association will host its annual industry meeting and beer festival Thursday, September 6, through Saturday, September 8, at the Sacramento Convention Center.
With more than 900 craft breweries now in operation, California is home to more craft beer companies than any other state in the nation and it contributed more than $8.2 billion to the U.S. economy in 2017.
At the CCBA’s 2018 meeting, Brewbound will report on the latest developments across California’s craft beer industry and share insights about the nation’s evolving beer industry as a whole.
As an official media partner, Brewbound will be live streaming, via YouTube, from noon to 5:00 PM PST on Thursday, and 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST on Friday. The stream, which can be accessed on Brewbound.com or on the Brewbound YouTube Channel, will include ‘Tap Talk’ presentations from Greg Koch, the co-founder of Stone Brewing; Chris Cramer, the CEO and co-founder of Karl Strauss; Richard Norgrove, the COO and brewmaster of Bear Republic; and Charlie Bamforth, distinguished professor of malting and brewing sciences at University of California, Davis
Brewbound is also conducting interviews with dozens of speakers and attendees, who will join the live stream on Thursday and Friday. Guests will include notable brewing industry figures, including CCBA executive director Tom McCormick, BA chief economist Bart Watson, and Lost Abbey founder Tomme Arthur, among others. We’ll dive into industry trends, get the most current brewery updates, and find out what Summit attendees learned during the event.
In addition to the live stream, written coverage will be posted to Brewbound.com before, during and after the conference.
