Stratford, CT — Building off the success of his Massachusetts Pour Tour and Connecticut Pour Tour, Todd Ruggere will kick-off his tour of the United States in an effort to raise funds for cancer research at noon on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Two Roads Brewing in Stratford.

In 2013, Mr. Ruggere drank a beer in each of Massachusetts’ 351 towns and raised approximately $40,000 for cancer research in the process. Mr. Ruggere took his tour to Connecticut in 2014, visiting each of the Nutmeg State’s 169 towns to raise $50,000.

This year, Mr. Ruggere is taking his efforts nationwide by visiting at least one location in every state for a beer, beginning with Connecticut’s own Two Roads Brewing Co. The event will feature raffles and Two Roads has generously offered to donate twenty percent of all beer sales during the event to the USA Pour Tour.

While Mr. Ruggere is still in the process of putting the USA Pour Tour schedule together, he has already lined up many of the locations he will visit, including at least one Major League Baseball stadium, a motorcycle rally and several breweries.
