Sweetwater Brewing is in the midst of an 18-month expansion that will take the brewing facilities from 26,000 square feet to 110,000 square feet.
The plans will allow the brewery to produce up to 500,000 barrels of beer. Plans also include new office and lab space, event space and a shiny new 250 barrel brewhouse. In addition, the brewing company is upgrading their bottling machine to a system which allows them to fill 500 bottles per minute, double their current capabilities.
We sat down with Sweetwater last month and discussed the details of their expansion plans and asked them what their best-selling beers were this year.
