Fermented Labs Launches BREWD Software for Canadian Taxes

Des Moines, IA and San Francisco, CA – Fermented Labs, creator of BREWD, the fastest growing provider of software to the craft beer industry, released full support for Canadian taxes including a pass through of taxes to Quickbooks Online.

BREWD now supports all Canadian province’s tax rates, including those where GST and HST are applied to the sale of beer and merchandise. The Fermented Labs team focused on a very simple integration which consists of setting up tax rates in Quickbooks that match predefined BREWD tax rates. BREWD also easily handles tax exempt merchandise products as well as keg deposits and returns.

BREWD software is a simple, easy to use, affordable platform for craft breweries. The fully responsive web platform works equally well on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. BREWD software focuses on clean simple design that enables breweries and their users to get up and running in a very short period of time.

“Having lived in Canada for 9 months I have a special place in my heart for Canada. When we got our first inquiry about supporting Canadian breweries, I knew it was something we had to do, one way or another. After months of research and ideation we began building and testing. We are happy to say that it is performing wonderfully with our test customer and we are now opening the functionality to all Canadian breweries.”, commented John Jackovin, Co-founder and CEO of Fermented Labs.
