Southbound Brewing to Release Damn Yankee

SAVANNAH, GA — On April 9th, Southbound Brewing Company will be tapping a special Small Batch Release of “Damn Yankee”, an oatmeal stout crafted by WTOC’s Don Logana and Southbound. The brew is part of Southbound’s ongoing series, “Toast of the Town” where the Brewery invites a low-country local in to collaborate with our brewers to craft a special brew for release in our taproom. “Damn Yankee” will be tapped during Southbound’s regular public tours on April 9th at 5:30pm. The 21+ public is invited to part-take in this release party.

To raise funds for the WTOC anchor’s Multiple Sclerosis awareness campaign, there will be great swag up for raffle and Southbound will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to MS.

Katie Smith with Southbound says, “When we heard that Don had an interest in learning more about the brewing process, we naturally jumped at the chance to have Savannah’s favorite anchor in-house! Not only is Don a craft beer super-fan, but he is an exceptionally invested member in his community. Like us, he values giving back to this brewtiful world around us, and so we were excited when he asked about having a fundraiser for his Multiple Sclerosis campaign during the tapping of Damn Yankee. We are happy to count this Yankee-turned-Southern Gentleman as one of our new friends!”

Don Logana enthusiastically adds, “Let’s do this thing!”
