Santa Fe Brewing Breaks Ground on New Beer Hall

SANTA FE, N.M. — Santa Fe Brewing Company (SFBC), New Mexico’s Original Craft Brewery, is breaking ground this week on a project that includes a new three-story beer hall, an expansive beer garden to include a host of outdoor games, a kid’s area, community fire pit and landscaping watered by their on-site water treatment facility, and an underground barrel aging tasting room. The new space will be connected to their on-site concert venue, The Bridge, by a pedestrian bridge that will take consumers up and over the parking lot, allowing beer consumption across the complex’s publicly accessible space.

SFBC owner and President Brian Lock couldn’t be more excited to see the first shovel of dirt moved.

“This has been my vision from the beginning,” said Lock. “When we initially purchased this property, the goal was to grow into it, and we’re growing at a pace that I don’t think any of us could have imagined. We’re up 47% in retail sales year to date, on top of 24% growth last year. Santa Fe Brewing fans across our eight-state sales area are really engaged with our brand right now and this latest project will give them another reason to be excited, while also bringing a lot of new fans into the family. Santa Fe is a world class destination and our home here at 35 Fire Pl when complete, will be a must do for any visitor to the city different.”

The official groundbreaking ceremony with the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce will take place on Friday, June 22nd at 4 pm. Following the ceremony, the Badda Boom Brass Band will take the stage at TheBridge. Doors open at 6 pm, no cover
