Reyes Holdings has completed its purchase of Florida’s Gold Coast Beverage Distributors, according to the company.

Official terms of the transaction were not disclosed, though when news first broke in November, multiple industry sources valued the deal at $1 billion.

Reyes, which in recent years has exhibited a pattern of growing through acquisition, will add 27 million cases to a beverage division that already planned to sell 115 million cases in 2014.

“We are very fortunate to have great partnerships with the best brewers and look forward to developing strong, sustained relationships with our Gold Coast customers,” Reyes Beverage CEO Ray Guerin said in a statement.

In addition to selling a number of well known domestic and import offerings, Gold Coast distributes top-25 craft brands like Boston Beer, Sierra Nevada, New Belgium and Lagunitas.

Prior to acquiring Gold Coast, Reyes had a presence in the state through its ownership of Orlando-based Florida Distributing Co., which sells about 12 million cases of beer annually. Reyes acquired that company in 2010.

Reyes’ newly acquired company will conduct business as Gold Coast Beverage L.L.C.
